Contest Rules
Objective of Extreme Technology Makeover
The main objective of the contest is to award the $50,000 Technology package to the business entry who is in the most need of a technology update. The Technology package will consist of products from the industry leading manufacturers and EPIC Information Solutions, the leader in Manitoba for Technology Solutions.
Rules and Regulations
- Contestants are organizations that meet the following criteria:
- Head office in Winnipeg and immediate surrounding area.
- Have between 5 and 75 desktop computers.
- Have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years.
- Does not have a full time IT professional employee on staff.
- Profit and Not-for-profit organizations can apply.
- Employee and relatives of EPIC employees are not eligible.
- Entries must be received by March 31st, 2009.
- All entries must be submitted at www.epic.ca. No other forms of entry will be accepted.
- The winner will be selected by a panel of judges from EPIC, HP, and Cisco.
- The winner will be announced on April 20th at the Extreme Technology Makeover Seminar.
- Only owners and GM’s of contestants will be invited to attend the Seminar.
- The winner must be present at the Seminar to win.
- Additional door prizes will be drawn at the Seminar for attendees.
- The winner of the Extreme Technology Makeover will be required to execute a consent agreeing to filming, documenting and all forms of press coverage in relation to the Technology Package and the Contest.
- The winner may incur additional costs to fully enable the Technology Package. The winner is not obligated to fully enable the Technology Package.
- EPIC reserves the right to determine the components of the $50,000 Technology Package.
- EPIC reserves the right to determine when the $50,000 Technology Package has been fully Delivered.
- All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the contest winner.
